I started taking art lessons when I was around 8 or 9 years old.
Once a week I met with a group of other budding artists to discover how to
see a three dimensional world and translate that onto a two dimensional
drawing. My love for the arts continued and my childhood dream of
"being an artist when I grow up" has blossomed into something I never would
have imagined.
As technology continues to change and at an ever increasing rate of
speed, the world of art has crossed into the digital realm. While
firmly grounded in the knowledge of "fine art" I pursued my studies in
visual communication through graphic and digital art. I was incredibly
blessed to have been given the opportunity to intern with Centier Bank's
marketing department for two summers during my college years. The
knowledge and experience that I gained from those two summers laid the
groundwork for my future endeavors.
I enjoy working one-on-one with customers, for profit and not, to
discover a brand and image that communicates their message visually to their
audience at large. From printed business cards and stationary to a
coordinating web presence, it is my desire and goal to create an atmosphere
to make a lasting impression for you or your business.
My artistic talent is not something that I take for granted. I know
that I have been blessed with this precious gift by the greatest Artist of
all time. God has laid it upon my heart to use my talents and
knowledge to advance His gospel and be a part of the great commission into
all the world. It is to this purpose and calling that I enjoy serving
in my local church as their volunteer graphic artist, creating visually
stimulating imagery to communicate the Message at a much deeper level.
